TDAC Thailand Digital Arrival Card & 60-Day Visa-Exempt Entry Guide (2026)

How to submit the mandatory free Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) within 72 hours of landing, plus 60-day visa-exempt entry rules for 93 countries and 30-day immigration extensions.

1. Mandatory Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) — Free Online Form

All foreign travelers entering Thailand by air, land, or sea must complete the online Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) (which replaced the old paper TM6 card) within 72 hours (3 days) prior to arrival on the official Thai Immigration Bureau portal (tdac.immigration.go.th). The TDAC is 100% free of charge—never pay third-party agency websites.

2. 60-Day Visa-Exempt Entry for 93 Countries

Passport holders from 93 countries and territories—including the United States, United Kingdom, all EU/Schengen nations, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, and Hong Kong—receive a 60-day visa-exempt entry stamp free upon arrival at Thai airports and land borders. Ensure your passport has at least 6 months remaining validity, a return or onward ticket within 60 days, and proof of hotel booking.

3. Extending Your Stay by 30 Extra Days (฿1,900)

Want to stay 90 days total? Visit any provincial Thai Immigration Office (such as IT Square Laksi in Bangkok, next to Chiang Mai Airport, or Phuket Town) before your initial 60 days expire to apply for a single 30-day tourist extension for ฿1,900 ($56) in cash (bring one 4×6 cm passport photo and your hotel's TM30 receipt).
